I've only read one Beatrice Small short story, although I'm tempted to read her backlist just for the OMGWTFBBQ factor. And yeah, I think sci-fi handles f/f stuff better. Don't know if it's because most of it's written by men, or whether the women who wrote in a more feminist vein really had a lot of issues they were trying to talk about regarding the patriarchy and the horribleness thereof.

Hi there and thanks for the wee plug for Man Love Monday *wink wink*

I'm posting a top ten man/man moments (that I can recall, my memory sucks). While I promise to have photos, there will be plenty to read as well.Look forward to you stopping by.

A couple of us were talking about those old Beatrice Small novels and I'm sure there may have been the odd lady/lady moment, but I think it was always shrouded in evil. As in: it was supposed to show how evil the bad woman was because she was having lusty girl thoughts. Sci fi seems to handle that much better (maybe because it is often written by men? I could be generalizing though). I'm looking for a specific book for you that my brother in law gave me years ago. (and, my memory being swiss cheese, I can't remember either the name or the author...or if it was a big book or a little book, so I can't locate it on the shelves...)It's a f/f scifi (not fantasy AT ALL) and it was gruff, gripping, and, er, stimulating.

I'll see if I can find it.
