Pfft. As the series progresses a lot of annoying things happen, like she's got the mystical va-jay jay that all the supernatural folks want to dip their wicks in...but there is something about Charlaine's willingness to keep Sookie human..I mean that character takes some real abuse, goes through hell and back, and still she's got that moral center that I dig. Favorite children's books? Oh man: Junie B. Jones for my youngest. The House At Pooh Corner for my eldest. And my son?
