Shannon C. is a twenty-something college student living in the midwest. Her eventual goals in life involve acquiring minions so that she will never have to do housework again. Also, minions would assist her in taking over the world, which is her other goal. She is variously a geek, a nerd, a dork and a fangirl. Reading-wise, she loves science fiction, fantasy (both traditional and urban), romance and the occasional horror novel. She adores strong female characters, moral ambiguity and juicy conflicts. She dislikes most of the romantic suspense she’s ever read, and Regency England is an extremely hard sell for her.

Jaliya is another twenty-something living on the west coast. She considers Shannon to be her evil twin, and has generously agreed to be Shannon’s blogging partner, because their reading tastes are complimentary. Jaliya doesn’t read science fiction, for example, and she loves romantic suspense. But she also thinks Regency England needs to collectively get shoved off a cliff.

Just a note: We will be providing honest reviews. We’re not especially snarky bloggers, because there are others who deliver the snark much better, but if we hated a book and actually finished the thing, we will probably rant about it. We love feedback and commentary, and we’d love to post guest reviews.
